What should we bring?

Drinks, snacks, lunch, hat, polarized sunglasses, UPF clothing and most importantly....SUNSCREEN. No spray on sunscreen allowed.

Do you require a deposit? When do we pay the rest?

Yes, a $100 deposit is required to hold your date. I will send you an invoice and provide payment options. Your date will not be guaranteed until your deposit is received. The balance of your charter fee is due on the day of your trip.

What can't we bring?

Illegal substances, GPS, spray-on sunscreen.

How many people can you take?

• Fishing trips - Up to 4 people

• Tours and boat days - Up to 6 people (yes, kids count as people)

When is the best time of year to fish?

• Tarpon - April through late July

• Snook - March through December

• Permit are generally available March through September

Where do we get on the boat?

• For tours and boat days - Nora Patterson Bay Island Park - Sarasota, FL

• For fishing trips, we tend to move around with the fish. Please check with the captain at the time of booking for details.

Can we drink on the boat?

Please drink responsibly. It is the Captain's legal and moral responsibility to get you home safely. We reserve the right to end your trip early for safety reasons.

What if there are high winds or bad weather?

Capt. Dan reserves the right to reschedule or cancel trips for safety reasons. This may be as a result of weather or other factors. If we are unable to run your trip due to a safety concern, we will reschedule or your deposit will be refunded immediately.
